This looks like a great craft. The supplies aren’t that expensive and it should be easy enough for little hands to do (probably not as neatly as the example, but it would be fun to see what happens).

Have you been checking out Craft Camp from Skip to my Lou?  They’re highlighting some great activities to do with kids.

Today www.wired.com had a post about 10 Great DIY activities for Kids and at first glance, the Newspaper Forts from Modern Parents, Messy Kids would work well for Building Up or as a teamwork camp activity (like Building with Boxes – but taking up less space and requiring less prep).

I’m a knitter and am always so amazed (and a bit jealous) at how fast weaving works up.  I bet Brownies would respond well to the speed too!
